One of the things that made me extremely happy last year was the rebirth of Hooj Choons. I can’t stress how much their sound influences me even to this day. And if the label’s resurrection wasn’t enough, we’ve now got a new remix of one of my all-time favorite tracks, Roaches by Trancesetters. Now, it’s not better than say the Peace Division Remix, but just getting a new remix is awesome.
Oh, did I mention this mix has that new remix in it? Well, I did now.
Seriously, it’s a great set this month. Lots of new tracks all around. Don’t forget to check out the new tracks from MK837 in particular, but I’m biased about those. Francisco Samuel’s latest on Tech Avenue Records shouldn’t be missed either.
